Hi Laurie.
I was so moved by this , I went through very similar losing my daughter Ruby in 2010 after just a few hours. I am so very sorry. The pain will never leave you, but I hope you can find a way to cope with it. There’s a little about me and her on this article, I really recommend Sands to you.
If there’s one piece of advice I can give it’s to have some sort of memorial or place you can go and remember Lewis, and do whatever you can to keep his name alive.
More than happy to engage with you if you want to contact me at any point.
All the very best,
Des
I read what you wrote about your son , firstly can I just say for such a sad situation your writing and the way you describe things is actually beautiful.
As for what happened I can’t begin to imagine your pain, I was a mess after reading it and I don’t even know you , all I can say is I’m sorry and you and your wife are truly strong special ppl, this may sound weird but on reading it I just wanted to somehow magically be able to just give you and your wife a hug and tell you how much so many ppl care.
I wish you and your lady nothing but the absolute best in life , Lewis may not had long on this earth but he would have known how much he was loved.
I’m glad that ppl letting you know how this touched them has helped you a little. I wish I could do something to stop the pain for you both , all I can do is write this message to you, keep you all in my prayers and send you my condolences and best wishes for the future.

I am very sorry for your loss. The reason for visiting the page is that I am watching the cup semi final with your commentary. Living in the United States, I don’t often get to see Scotish football. It’s been enjoyable to hear the undeniable passion in your voice.
